In this article, I dare not say some thing to you, I want to travel with you with my deductions from the following question as the premise. We all know the answer, some times we need an 'aha' moment of understanding.
What drives you, me and everybody out there?
Your loved car? Or may be your dream house? My desire of living a green life? Or the desires of financial freedom of so many people out there?
Your beloved car becomes old and battered and you do not love it so much as you loved it on the day of your purchase or prior to it. You move to a bigger home which you can afford now. How much you love your old house now? But, your drive to live a richer and more satisfying live is increasing moment after moment!
Then, what drives you now? Your dreams? Dreams keep on changing, not in all the cases, though.
I have seen people's dreams changing, with the increase in drive in their lives. They call it the expansion of the limits of the dream. I agree, its the expansion, increasing in scale. If we see from an outer point of view, dream of a small car changes into the dream of a luxurious one. If we think our dream was the small car in the first place, then it has changed into a luxurious one. If we think that the dream was a car, then the dream has expanded from the former into the latter. In this case we have moved from the particulars to the general, expanded.
Then, what is that drives us all from within, manifesting outwardly as a desire, dream or an aspiration to become somebody; which keeps on changing or expanding? And.that is common in us all?
Is it "a yearning to be happy"?
How is it that we all have it in common? Are we a part of a larger entity, peers, networked to a server? We have inherited the same nature from the Mother. Some call it Universe, some call it Nature and many others in many different dialects and languages.
Then what is the colour of Universe or Nature?
It has all the colours, because all colors have originated from it. But, in spite of all that, one color comes to my mind, which symbolizes it.
GREEN!
The color of life, the color of bliss!
